According to most auction site's policies, one cannot bid against their own account. Since we use your own account to place a bid on your behalf, this means that you should not bid "against yourself." Instead, the new entry should be considered a modification to a prior entry, as long as the amount is greater. If the amount is less than the one you have already placed, or within one increment of that amount, you may receive a "Pre-Outbid" notice from our system, since the bid rejection will be seen as that result.
